Terms & Conditions

Welcome to GRAPES CAB PRIVATE LIMITED ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Grapes Cab mobile app, website, or services, you ("User", "Customer") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read this document carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our platform, you acknowledge and confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms.
  • You agree to follow all policies and guidelines.
  • You are at least 18+ years of age for Driver registration.
  • You will not misuse the app or services.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue using our services immediately.

2. Our Services

Grapes Cab provides the following services:

  • Cab booking services
  • Ride-sharing services
  • Location-based transportation services

We operate as a technology platform connecting customers with independent drivers. Drivers are not employees of Grapes Cab but independent service professionals.

3. User Account Responsibilities

To use the service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Create an account with accurate and complete personal details.
  • Provide a valid mobile number and email address.
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Ride Booking & Cancellation

A. Booking

  • A ride is confirmed only after a driver accepts your request.
  • Estimated fare, route, and arrival time may vary due to real-time conditions such as traffic and road closures.

B. Cancellation by User

You may cancel a ride; however, cancellation charges may apply based on:

  • Time of cancellation
  • Distance already traveled by the driver towards pickup
  • Driver’s effort and time to reach the pickup location

C. Cancellation by Driver

A driver may cancel a ride due to:

  • Safety concerns
  • Incorrect or incomplete location/address details
  • Unreachable customer (calls/messages not answered)
  • Technical or operational issues

5. Payment Terms

You agree to pay the fare displayed in the app, which may include:

  • Base fare
  • Distance and/or time-based charges
  • Toll charges
  • Peak time or surge charges
  • Platform / convenience fees and applicable government taxes

Accepted payment modes include:

  • Cash
  • UPI
  • Wallet
  • Card payments (processed securely by third-party partners)

All payments are considered final and non-refundable unless a refund is approved by the Company in accordance with our Refund Policy.

6. User Conduct & Safety

While using our services, you agree NOT to:

  • Misbehave with or harass drivers.
  • Damage or attempt to damage the vehicle.
  • Carry illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items.
  • Use the service for any unlawful or prohibited activities.
  • Manipulate GPS location or app functionality.
  • Share false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

If a user violates safety rules or behaves inappropriately, we may suspend or permanently terminate the account.

7. Driver Conduct

We expect drivers on our platform to:

  • Hold a valid driving license, insurance, and PUC.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
  • Follow all applicable traffic rules and regulations.
  • Behave respectfully and professionally with customers.

8. Liability & Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grapes Cab is not responsible for:

  • Delays due to traffic, weather, breakdowns, or technical issues.
  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
  • Third-party actions, including drivers or other users.
  • Accidents or incidents beyond our reasonable control.

We provide a technology platform and do not guarantee the behaviour, actions, or performance of individual drivers.

9. Suspension or Termination (User & Driver)

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions.
  • You misuse or attempt to abuse the service.
  • You engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities.
  • You pose a safety risk to drivers, riders, or others.

10. Privacy Policy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data. By using our platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our platform—including logos, branding, app design, images, text, icons, graphics, and software—is the intellectual property of GRAPES CAB PRIVATE LIMITED and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reuse any content without our prior written permission.

12. Grievance & Support

For complaints, queries, or support, you may contact:

13. Amendments

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi Jurisdiction only, India.
